The following OST (Original Soundtrack), corresponds to the third game, Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft, in 1998, and it consists of 49 songs, including title sounds, secrets, action sounds and ambient sounds.

In addition to Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft (1998), Nathan McCree also composed music for Tomb Raider (1996) and Tomb Raider II (1997).

Nathan McCree

British composer Nathan McCree created the music for the first three Tomb Raider games, developed by Core Design between 1996 and 1998. His style, influenced by orchestral and choral music, shaped a highly recognizable sound identity from the very first game.

Among his most memorable works is the main melody, an oboe theme that became the musical signature of the series. Many fans still recognize it instantly. Over time, McCree revisited these compositions and transformed them into a new album: The Tomb Raider Suite.

This project came to life at Abbey Road Studios, where he recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Robert Ziegler. The album went on sale on his website on May 1, 2018. Years later, in 2021, McCree released The Tomb Raider Suite – The Synth Mixes, a high-quality version created with the same Roland JV-1080 synthesizers he used in 1996 for the original soundtrack.
