- Did you know anything about Lara and Tomb Raider before you got the part?
- Yes – my boyfriend is addicted to the game and plays it all the time!
- How do you feel about representing a fictitious digital character?
- It’s taken a while to sink in that I will actually represent Lara Croft, but the more I think about it, the more excited I get about the whole idea. It’s actually quite amazing since in the past people have mentioned that I remind them of the Tomb raider girl!
- Do you think you have much in common with Lara?
- Yes, I believe I do. The most obvious being our names! I also love adventure, just like Lara!
- What are your aspirations for the future?
- I hope to model for as long as possible. I would also like to open a club that specialises in yoga and sells health products. Then hopefully settle down in a lovely house and have a family.
- What are your favourite leisure activities?
- I enjoy socialising, yoga, going to the cinema, clubbing and travelling.
- Lara’s a bit of a globetrotter – have you visited many countries yourself?
- Yes – I’ve visited a vast number of countries in Europe. I’ve also travelled to the US. My favourite trip to date was a holiday in the Maldives.
- What’s been your favourite job so far and why?
- My favourite job was the shoot I did for Comfort (fabric conditioner). The photographer I worked with was great and everybody worked really well as a team that day – the money wasn’t too bad either! The best thing, though, was seeing myself plastered all over the bus stops, train stations etc. of London.
- How did you start your modelling career – did you always want to be a model?
- I didn’t actually think about modelling until someone stopped me in Holland and asked me if I would be interested in modelling. I did a little part-time modelling in Holland before deciding to try my luck in London.
- Work history
- I’ve been modelling since 1995. Jobs have varied from editorial shoots such as More, GQ and Mens Health magazines, to advertising work for Harrods, Comfort, Fiorelli and Fosters Calendar shoot. I seem to obtain the majority of my work via lingerie and swimwear modelling.
