Tomb Raider I-II: Remastered fan spanish dubbing

Instructions

  • Steam: If you have the Steam version of the game, just copy the “ES” folder inside the TRACKS directory of this download for each of the games (1 for TR1 and 2 for TR2), the location is “Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider I-III Remastered\”.
  • GOG: If you have the GOG version of the game, simply copy it in the same way inside the folder where you have installed the game.

TR1 and TR1 Gold Installer

Note: The following installer and patches are only for the original version. It’s not compatible with Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered, as it’s a modern version of the game.

The main game TR1 and its expansion gold, both date from 1996, so until today it has been very difficult to make this game work, since originally for PC, it was executed through MS-DOS, and some time later appeared some tools like DOSBOX that made it easier to play, although with a complex configuration.

Nowadays, there is a tool that makes it very easy to patch the game to be able to play it with good quality on current operating systems, the program is called TOMBATI, and also includes the TR1 Gold bonus levels (Unfinished Bussiness and Shadow’s Cat).

Below you can download the mentioned program, the original download source is on the Glidos website, and you can also download the 1.70 version below: TOMBATI V1.70.

You must have the main game installed on the C drive (in case you have the Steam version, when you hit install, make sure you choose the C drive.

Next, run the TOMBATI installer and leave the default path.

When you have finished extracting, a new window will appear to choose where to import the game from (GoG version, Steam or from a CD):

The new location to play both the main game (tombati.exe) and TR1 Gold (Tombub.exe) will be at: C:\TOMBATI.

TOMBATI version enhancements

  • Adds music and ambient sounds to the levels (as in the PlayStation version).
  • Fixes a secret that could not be collected in The Great Pyramid level.

Texture enhancement pack for Tomb Raider (1996)

Some fans have collaborated with the community to improve the original game with HD textures, each artist gives a different touch, so, from the Tomb Raider Xtra website, you can download several texture packs, corresponding to several levels. You will see that this website is updated frequently. Access to TRXtra website to download your favourite.

Also, through the Glidos page, they provide a TombATI installer to put the FMV in high quality, remember to have TombATI installed in the default path: C:\TOMBATI:

To install, it’s very easy, there is a TombATI installer that asks you to extract the textures in the default path of TombATI. From Croft Generation we recommend you to try John Capon‘s textures, we have liked them the most and they are the most complete.

TR1-5 Utilities Download

  • ESCAPE Play: Animation viewer for Tomb Raider (1996), for .RPL extensions.
  • Universal Infinite Health Patch: This patch should work for all versions of Tomb Raider 2,3,4 and 5, including Gold and demo versions.
  • Tomb Raider Level Selector: This simple program allows you to easily load the savegames of your choice to play all versions of Tomb Raider 1 to 5.
  • TRposEditor: This allows you to edit Lara’s position in Tomb Raider 1 to 5 and all its Gold expansions.
  • Tomb Raider Savegame Editor (TRSEdit): This savegame editor was developed by Kgy SOFT. It will edit the savegame files of Tomb Raiders 1-5. You can give Lara extra weapons, ammo, medipaks and flares, increase her life, extinguish when on fire, increase the number of secrets obtained, and much more.
  • Tomb Raider Flight Patch: Make Lara fly in Tomb Raiders 2, 3 and 4 games. This unofficial patch was developed by Ben Rudiak-Gould.
  • TombEdit: Developed by Norbert Wiesinger is a small program that helps to edit Tomb Raiders 1-3 savegame files for PC. Use the graphical interface to open a savegame. Click on a few options to change weapons, ammo, medipacks, items (keys, artifacts, etc), or increase air or life levels, or even unlimited. Then save the file and load it back into the game.
