In 2000, Eidos hired Lucy Clarkson, a 17-year-old model, the youngest to play Lara during the promotion of the games.
Lucy’s modelling career began when her mum entered her in an Elite Model Agency competition hosted by a national newspaper and a toothpaste manufacturer. With no prior experience at all, Lucy was named one of the 12 winners out of 16,000 wannabes.
It didn’t take long for the work to pour in. As a tall, shapely girl Lucy became a favourite of maverick British designer Vivienne Westwood. She was also kept busy with lingerie and swimwear shoots.
Lucy Clarkson was the head of public relations for The Gunther Trust, the millionaire dog that had a documentary miniseries on Netflix. The director of the series thought of Lucy to help tell the story on camera.
Originally from Rotherham, Clarkson grew up in South Yorkshire and during her modeling career, she appeared in Sports Illustrated, FHM, Marie Claire and in advertising campaigns with Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, Chanel, PlayStation, Wrigleys and other brands. She was also awarded the title of “Sexiest Woman in the World” by Loaded and has appeared as a presenter on the Health and Wellness Channel.
In 2015, Clarkson also debuted as a singer, releasing her first single, Royalty, featuring rapper Fat Joe.
According to the Daily Star, she now lives in Miami and is a single mother to son Hudson, having previously been married to financier Michael Parners and businessman Ronald DeMeo.
Her main goal is to advance her career as a television presenter.
