Finally it was officially announced, the first glimpse about the new anime series that will be coming exclusively to Netflix, which will be released under the title “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft”.
One of the most interesting aspects of this series is that “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” will explain the events that took place between “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” and the upcoming game. This raises numerous questions about what adventures and challenges Lara will face.
The release date for this exciting series has already been officially confirmed by the Tomb Raider account and we will only have to wait until 2024, when the remasters from the first three classic games will also be available.
The production of “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” is produced by Legendary Television, with the collaboration of Crystal Dynamics.
The teaser trailer took a while to show up at Netflix’s Drop 01 event, but we finally got to see its first footage. Although brief, the trailer offers hints about the art direction, tone and some clues about the adventures that await Lara Croft in this anime.
